ORDER ACCEPTANCEThe receipt of an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of sell. Sonoma County Historical Society reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refusal of any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any membership, donation, or order.
PAYMENT OPTIONSWe offer a choice of payment options so that you can choose the method most convenient and which feels most comfortable to you. These include:

Should you choose to pay by credit card, we will process approval of the transaction within 48 hours to minimize any delay. We will obtain authorization from the bank that issued your card and employ verification techniques before completing the transaction. We never store credit card information or payment information in our system or on our website once your transaction is complete.
ORDERS AND PAYMENTOrders placed do not constitute a legal contract until the Sonoma County Historical Society confirms your order. Terms of payment are within Sonoma County Historical Society’s sole discretion and, unless otherwise arranged, payment must be received prior to acceptance of an order. Payment may be made by any of the above methods.
If payment is made by credit card, acceptance of the order is subject to credit card verification protocol. We reserve the right to cancel an order if it does not meet our credit card verification standards.
Your order is subject to cancellation by the Sonoma County Historical Society, at our sole discretion. We are not responsible for pricing, typographical or other errors. We reserve the right to cancel any order resulting from such errors.
Payment for services rendered by the Sonoma County Historical Society will be paid in full upon submittance of an order – verbal or electronically. Based on both service and product orientation, the Sonoma County Historical Society holds the right to process payment immediately upon order receipt. By submitting your order, you acknowledge the general time frame of 1-2 weeks for delivery for United States domestic orders, 2 – 3 weeks for international orders that require shipment of a physical product; however, you also acknowledge delays may occur for any extended period of time. The Sonoma County Historical Society will make all attempts to fulfill your order completely, in a timely manner.
Shipping and HandlingFor physical products, shipping and handling are an additional charge unless otherwise expressly indicated at the time of sale. Ownership to product passes from the Sonoma County Historical Society to you upon shipment from our store. Any loss or damage that occurs during shipment by any carrier selected by us is our responsibility; however, we cannot be held responsible for damages if the product is not inspected immediately upon delivery.
You must notify Sonoma County Historical Society within 24 hours of the date of your purchase if you believe any part of your purchase is missing, wrong, or damaged. You must provide us with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the purchase of your product, as well as the correct shipping location, or you will be responsible for sales and other taxes associated with your order. Quoted shipping dates are estimates only.
